Members of Kol Haskalah: A Humanistic Jewish Congregation come from many different backgrounds: Jewish, other faiths and non-theistic. What unites us is our belief in the power and responsibilities of each of us to make the most of the world we live in.

We would like to share some stories of our members' journeys to Humanistic Judaism, in the hopes that they will give you a sense of the diversity of our backgrounds and beliefs.

Cathy Lynn Moore was our first President (when we were known as the Triangle Congregation for Humanistic Judaism) and is now our Co-President.

Herb Halbrecht co-founded the Triangle Congregation for Humanistic Judaism.

Marv Axelrod co-founded the Triangle Congregation for Humanistic Judaism.
