Kol Haskalah: A Humanistic Jewish Congregation is a lay-led community. Our programs and other activities are developed by a number of committees, including the Program, Education, and Social Action Committees.

If it's holiday time, check out our Celebrations pages for current happenings. Programs are posted on this website in the Calendar section. Notices of all events and activities are e-mailed to all members and other interested individuals.

We have an active
Sunday School with a formal but engaging curriculum that gets kids, parents and teachers all thinking and talking together. Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation is offered and the ceremonies are meaningful and unique. Many post-B'nai Mitzvah students stay active in the Jewish community and even return as Sunday School teachers themselves!

Adult discussion groups are held the first Sunday School Sunday of each month to explore a variety of specialized topics of interest to a Humanistic Jewish community. We also have wonderful adult discussion groups, a book club, and other opportunities for members to enjoy each other's company and discover their own personal connections with the Jewish tradition.

We welcome members and visitors to join us in strengthening this community of Humanistic Jews.
